Suzanne Emptage
RVN
Suzanne qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from Edinburghs Telford College in 2007, and her first job was at Glasgow University Small Animal Hospital, followed by several years at an exotic practice. She then began working as a Head RVN at a busy first opinion practice where she was heavily involved in the initial set up of the clinic, organising the nursing protocols, the day to day running, whilst also leading a team of RVNs. She particularly enjoyed setting up and running a wide variety of nurse led clinics, client education, community involvement and being a clinical coach to student veterinary nurses.
Suzanne is passionate about ensuring standards are consistently high in all areas of Veterinary Practice, and works hard to ensure the patients wellbeing at all times. She is committed to helping first opinion practices reach these standards and provide the best care possible.
Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, and can often be found walking the hills around her home in Perthshire, Scotland, with her two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs Baia and Bronte, or curled up on the couch with a good book!
