Callie Salway
BSc(Hons) RVN
Callie gained a BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Nursing through Middlesex University in 2020. She started work as an RVN in a first opinion training practice which introduced her to orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. Here, she developed an interest in radiography and anaesthesia. She also became a clinical coach and really enjoyed educating student veterinary nurses; helping them to achieve RVN status.
She then worked as a Head RVN at a small, busy practice, managing a team of nurses and developing and implementing protocols to improve patient care.
Callie particularly enjoys supporting other veterinary professionals, as well as patients and clients. She enjoys the aspect of making someone’s day better by inputting knowledge and strategy.
VVS allows Callie to make a difference each day through working with first opinion vets and specialists; therefore, facilitating the delivery of excellent patient care.
Out of work Callie enjoys spending as much time with family and friends as possible – four-legged species included!
