Dr Sarah Spencer

Sarah graduated from the University of Bristol and initially spent some time in general practice, before embarking on an internship and post graduate certificate with the University of Nottingham at Dick White Referrals. She then returned to the University of Bristol for her specialist residency training. Sarah became an internal medicine ECVIM diplomate in 2018 and worked at the Queen Mother Hospital at the Royal Veterinary College where she supervised interns, residents and participated in some undergraduate teaching.
Sarah is currently doing a PhD at the RVC, investigating the role of aldosterone in feline chronic kidney disease. She has presented some of her research findings to date at international conferences. Sarah enjoys teaching and has recently been a tutor for the University of Sydney’s Feline Medicine Distant Education course. Her particular interests are feline medicine and haematology.
