Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
A unique and exciting opportunity for an additional board-certified diagnostic imaging specialist, with a real passion for ultrasound, to join the Virtual Veterinary Specialists team.
Virtual Veterinary Specialists (VVS) are world leaders in providing specialist-to-vet telediagnostic services. However, here at VVS we work in a different way to other companies. At VVS we offer a virtual referral environment built on collaborative working and clinical excellence. VVS supports and enables vets in practice to work-up their own clinical cases under the real-time guidance of a remote specialist.
At VVS, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service to our client practices and for providing a stimulating, supportive and ultra-flexible work environment for our large multidisciplinary specialist team.
Now entering our 6th year of ground-breaking clinical support and fostering close collaborations between specialists and vets in practice, we are looking for an additional talented, friendly and personable diagnostic imaging specialist, who loves sharing their passion for ultrasound.
Does this sound like you?
- Do you love diagnostic ultrasound?
- Do you enjoy teaching?
- Do you value being part of a large multidisciplinary specialist team?
- Do you want to feel that you are making a real difference to both animal health and welfare, and to the support of your veterinary colleagues?
- Do you have an interest in new innovative and immersive ways of delivering veterinary specialist care?
- Do you want to work from anywhere in the world, choose the hours you work and receive great remuneration?
If so, then this could be the role for you!
The working hours and pattern are flexible to suit the applicant’s requirements, from working regular hours to providing ad hoc diagnostic imaging support, the role can be tailored to individual availability as required.
We welcome applicants from any geographical location because of our virtual nature.
To apply candidates must:
- Be ECVDI or ACVR boarded
- Be MRCVS, or hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS
- Have a reliable internet connection
VVS will provide all the relevant equipment, training and technical support to ensure that the role is enjoyable and satisfying.
Interested applicants are welcome to email Nuala Summerfield (Clinical Director) at [email protected] for a confidential and informal chat to learn more about VVS, and to discuss their specific requirements and availability in the first instance.
To apply, please send your CV and a short covering letter to [email protected]
At VVS we support equality of opportunity and diversity within the workplace and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
